Our Approach to Pricing

We want you to be clear and informed on how much a matter is likely to cost you before we start work on your behalf.
 
At the start of your matter we will assess your case and provide you with a full estimate of the likely costs involved.  We will also confirm what other expenses (disbursements) may be necessary, for example Court fees, searches, expert witness fees, or the fees of a Barrister to represent you at Court.  We will regularly review and update you regarding costs and disbursements as your case progresses.
 
The work we do for you will either be charged at our standard hourly rates by reference to the time spent on your case, or at an agreed fixed fee for some areas of work. 
 
Our standard hourly rates range from £215.00 - £290.00 per hour exclusive of VAT depending on the legal advisor assisting you and the type of matter you instruct us to deal with.  Your matter will always be supervised or conducted by a Director of the firm.
 
Where appropriate, we offer fixed fee options for undefended residential possession matters, service charge recovery claims and business to business debt recovery.  The details of the fixed fee options we offer for these areas of work can be found below:

We are happy to discuss other fixed fee options and with you should you prefer to instruct us on that basis. 
 
We also offer monthly retainer options to support you in your business.  Many of our clients find this option invaluable – using us as their legal department on an ad hoc basis as issues arise.  Prices for this service start at £100.00 per month exclusive of VAT.
