Carolyn Stoneham - Director/Co-Founder
Carolyn qualified as Chartered Legal Executive in 2010 whilst working at a large regional firm. She has significant experience and expertise within the area of property disputes, debt recovery and general civil litigation.
Carolyn advises property owners, professional letting and block management agents, landlords and tenants in relation to the full range of issues that can arise from owning or managing property. She acts for clients in contentious matters in the County Court and First Tier Tribunal to include residential possession claims, forfeiture proceedings, leasehold disputes and rent and service charge recovery. With the ever-changing legislation relating to the landlord and tenant relationship, Carolyn uses her wealth of knowledge in this area to regularly provide advice, updates and support to clients navigating this complex and evolving area of law, covering topics such as the formation and termination of tenancies, serving notice to quit, deposit registration, statutory prescribed requirements and retaliatory eviction. Carolyn also regularly acts for clients where there has been a breach of such legislation to find solutions to minimise the impact for those instructing her. Outside of work Carolyn enjoys live music, travel, and long seaside walks - preferably with her family and a dog in tow. |
